Role Overview:
The Consulting unit at IWSR is a high-performing team advising C-suite leaders across multinational alcohol manufacturers and major domestic players. Leveraging our best-in-class database, global market expertise and world-class consumer research, we provide trusted insight into the trends shaping the industry and inform strategic decision-making.
This is an early-career role created due to sustained growth in demand for consulting and customised data analytics projects. The successful candidate will be articulate, inquisitive and hard-working, with strong data analysis skills and the ability to communicate insights clearly. The role focuses on the creation and delivery of market research and data consultancy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Use IWSR proprietary category and consumer datasets to build, interrogate, and interpret complex quantitative analyses.
Support consumer and category quantitative consulting projects end-to-end, including research design, analysis planning, and development of charts and outputs in Excel and PowerPoint to communicate key findings.
Conduct and manage secondary/desk research, sourcing and analysing data, trends, and market intelligence to support client deliverables.
Translate quantitative research findings into clear, succinct, and compelling narratives and recommendations.
Deliver assigned project components accurately, on time, and to a high standard, working closely with managers, directors, and the Head of Consulting.
Contribute to quality control and peer review to ensure consistency and accuracy across deliverables.
Support multiple project workstreams concurrently, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.
Drive continuous improvement by enhancing processes, tools, and ways of working to improve team efficiency.
Collaborate positively across the team, supporting wider priorities and responding flexibly to business needs.
Skills & Experience:
Candidates should have:
Ability to analyse and interpret large volumes of complex data and to turn data into incisive insight.
Strong data literacy, including consumer data, with data modelling, reshaping & manipulation skills.
Degree-level / Masters qualification in mathematics, science, engineering, economics or social science.
Good understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques and principles.
Excellent IT and analytical skills – Advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
Exposure to, or interest in, the practical application of AI tools in research, synthesis, analysis and delivery.
Superior written and oral communication skills in English.
Clear, inquisitive thinker with proven ability to articulate complex issues into simple messages.

Desirable:
Bev-Alc, Drinks, Food or FMCG industry knowledge.
Fluency in any of the following languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Mandarin, Japanese.
Experience in Power BI, SPSS, SQL, SAS or Q statistical analysis software.
